Loch Lomond park wins industry award as Scotland's best
Lomond Woods Holiday Park is Scotland's finest park. It's official. The park won the accolade at the Scottish Hospitality Awards this month in Glasgow.
Lomond Woods became part of Wood Leisure 25 years ago. Since then the family-owned business has invested in new facilities, landscaping and accommodation.
The investment has proven its worth. The judges recognised the high standards of the site. And, the feedback from customers about the park. Lomond Park also has a five-star Visit Scotland rating for its holiday homes, touring and glamping pitches.
Tricia Farragher, manager at Lomond Woods, said:
"We owe a big debt of thanks to all our many loyal customers whose votes helped take us to the number one position."
"A big factor in this competition is the hospitality provided to holiday guests, as well as the friendly atmosphere and warmth of welcome which customers receive."
Lomond Woods is one of six parks in the company. The other parks are Corriefodly Holiday Park, Callander Woods Holiday Park, Deeside Holiday Park, and Blairgowrie Holiday Park, Campsie Glen Holiday Park.
