It’s show time at Stoneleigh

f26b3981-8948-4bcb-b6f9-8f5b25095772

WITH a taste of everything you need to buy a park home or leisure lodge, the Park Home Lifestyle show offers a complete lifestyle package. With over 70 brand new homes on display, the show will give visitors the opportunity to look round some of the most exclusive park homes and leisure lodges on the market.

Having changed its name from the Park Home and Leisure Show, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better than before, showcasing a brand new look and layout.

The Park Homes Lifestyle Show has moved a long way from its early shows some 30 years ago, as has the park home itself. The most prestigious event in the industry calendar, it started life as a trade show in the early seventies.

Then, as park homes became an ever more important sector of the housing market, it became increasingly important for the industry to open its doors to people looking for high quality residential accommodation.

However, while leisure homes have been included on a small scale in previous years, it is this element of the show that is set for a dramatic change. A few years ago, visitors would have seen no more than four leisure homes from about three manufactures. This number has been increasing rapidly over the past few years and, in 2006, approximately 20 per cent of the homes on display will be leisure lodges.

"Essentially, the decision to own a park home or leisure lodge is all about choosing a better lifestyle, and that is reflected in the re-branding of the show," explains Martin Hember, vice chairman of the Park Home Lifestyle Forum.

"We wanted to move forward with a new look, with a brand that conveys the sharp style and elegance of a modern park home or leisure lodge.

"Park homes and leisure lodges should be synonymous with luxury, comfort and an improved lifestyle and this is what the Park Homes Lifestyle Show offers."

There are 11 manufacturers who make up the Park Home Lifestyle Forum who will be the major exhibitors at Stoneleigh from May 17-21. They are:

  • Cosalt Holiday Homes
  • Country Homes
  • Heritage Homes
  • Homeseeker Homes
  • Lissett Park Homes
  • Manor Park Homes
  • Omar Homes
  • Pathfinder Park Homes
  • Stately Albion
  • Tingdene Homes
  • Wessex Park Homes

Other manufacturers, dealers and parks owners will also be exhibiting, as will producers of associated products and the two main trade organisations for the industry - the British Holiday and Home Parks Association and the National Park Homes Council.

And you'll also be able to meet representatives of Park and Holiday Homes magazine. So see you there…!

•The show takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from May 17-21. For further details, telephone: 0870 010 9089, or see the website:www.parkhomelifestyleshow.com
