Insurance company's paperless policies campaign raises £20,000
Leisure insurance specialists, CaravanGuard and Leisuredays raised more than £20,000 in 2020 for Heart Research UK as a result of its paperless policies.
The company, which insures touring caravans, campervans, motorhomes and holiday homes and lodges, has been raising money for Heart Research UK for more than a decade by donating £1 to the charity each time a new caravan, campervan or motorhome insurance customer opts for their policy documents to be emailed rather than posted.
In 2020, its 'Paperless Policies' campaign raised a record £20,358 – the most it’s ever raised in a 12-month period. In the same year, the company, based in Halifax, also celebrated insuring more than 105,000 customers.
The total amount gifted by CaravanGuard and Leisuredays to the charity in the last 11 years is £131,750.
