Hoburne launches new customer service centre as sales boom
The state-of-the-art centre, being built in Highcliffe, Dorset, close to Hoburne’s Head Office, will handle enquiries for the 30,000-plus holidays booked every year.
The family-owned and run business, which celebrates its centenary next year, has seen holiday sales increase for several years now and expects that to continue with further investment in additional, top-end accommodation in the pipeline.
Chairman Rosie Kennar said, “Customer care has always been paramount to us. We have great relationships with our visitors, the majority of whom have been staying with us for many years, and so opening a customer care centre was a natural step to take.
“The number of calls we are taking is increasing all the time and we want to ensure we continue to deliver the excellent customer care people have come to know us for right from an initial enquiry to compliment the customer service on our Parks.”
The centre is set to open in November to coincide with publication of the 2012 holiday brochure.
Hoburne has coastal and countryside parks in Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, the Cotswolds, Cornwall and Somerset, with accommodation ranging from fully equipped luxurious timber lodges and spacious modern caravan holiday homes to cosy chalets. It has an extensive range of new and pre-owned holiday homes for sale.
The company will be celebrating its centenary in 2012. It was founded by the current chairman’s great-grandfather.
