Consider holiday home ownership amid staycation popularity, says Park Leisure

Park Leisure, which operates 11 holiday home parks across the UK, has found that 77% of Brits aspire to own a holiday home and a third of those are considering locations such as Cornwall, Yorkshire, Devon and the Lake District

In fact, countryside breaks look to be increasing in popularity, with Park Leisure reporting a 95% increase in arrivals to its country-based sites in Yorkshire and Herefordshire last year.

Recent research conducted by the parks operator also found that 70% of those surveyed would prefer to take shorter, regular breaks as opposed to one or two longer holidays per year – and 35% say that UK breaks are preferred due to less travel time compared with overseas breaks.
