Choosing the right colour for your park home

6059b297-d313-42c8-8370-0eaa4b6186b5

Dark chocolate, muffin, soft peach, buttermilk, mint. Mmmm…

The names may get your mouth watering and conjure up images of tasty mouthfuls. But we are not talking foodstuffs here, as a few more items from the list make clear, for example brick red, oyster grey and – the real giveaway – shed/fence green. Yes, you’ve got it. These are all shades in a colour selector.

There are no fewer than 30 in total and they describe the range available from a company which specialises in the manufacture and sale of permeable, weatherproof, flexible, thermoplastic, textured or smooth finishes and primers. In other words, paint for park homes.

The company in question is Resitex Ltd and this year it celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Current output of this family business stands at around half a million litres annually. That translates into 60 telephone enquiries and 50 packages being despatched every day. (You can also collect an order from the factory in order to avoid carriage charges.)

Much of Resitex’s business is with companies – customers include park-home manufacturers Tingdene, Stately-Albion, Pathfinder, Manor and Titans using stain inhibiting mould-control primers and weather proof stipple finishes.

But the majority of orders come direct to their Barnsley, South Yorkshire, factory from individual diy owner occupiers. You can also collect an order from the factory in order to avoid carriage charges.

A free question-and-answer telephone service provides customers with advice and guidance on choosing the right product for their needs and how to use it. More information from http://www.resitexcoatings.co.uk
