Leisure and residential park profiles: Monte Carlo Parks
In the Garden of England, beautiful Kent: a leisure park at Biddenden and a residential park near to Maidstone.
Spill Land Farm Country Park
In the region known as the Weald of Kent sits the leisure park of Spill Land Farm Country Park. The Weald is an area characterised by woodland, stretching from Kent into Hampshire. The word Weald derives from an Old English word for forest. It’s a great area for walking and is considered to be one of the prettiest areas of Kent; a region of castles and vineyards and encompassing lovely villages including Biddenden.
A mile north of Biddenden lies Spill Land Farm Country Park, a new leisure park bordered by agricultural land and woodland. It’s open all year. Lodge prices start at £87,995 and rise to £179,995.
One example is a Delta Superior lodge at £87,995. It's complete with decking; a double patio door opens onto it. This holiday home has an American fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer – plus a wine cooler.
Another example of lodges here is the Arundel Twin Lodge, at £179,995. Made by Stately-Albion, the Arundel is a large, top-luxury lodge with oak furniture and a vaulted ceiling that continues into the apex of the glass front gable.
Golf and fishing opportunities are close to the park – and the beaches of Kent are within easy reach. Kent is a wonderful county in which to spend your leisure time – or maybe choose as your permanent place of residence. Monte Carlo Parks, owner of Spill Land Farm, also owns a residential park in Kent…
Five Furlongs Country Park
Recently established, this residential park is close to Paddock Wood, eight miles from Maidstone. Only three homes are now available on this park. A part-exchange scheme is in place to enable buyers to move speedily and easily. This park, for people aged 45 and over, is conveniently close to supermarkets and a good choice of restaurants.
Whether you are looking for a leisure retreat at Spill Land or a permanent home at Five Furlongs, Kent is a great choice, with 350 miles of coastline to explore, and quaint ports of Sandwich and Whitstable to visit again and again. The pretty city of Canterbury, with its river trips, beautiful architecture and cathedral, is one of Kent’s jewels, as is the spa town of Tunbridge Wells, famous for its natural spring and elegant architecture.
