Buying a park home

The Tingdene Visitor and Design Centre is a perfect place to begin your park home journey. With a wealth of knowledge, experience and success in the industry, Tingdene has created a comfortable and relaxing space for their customers to view stunning show homes, learn more about the park home lifestyle and receive support and advice from an experienced team.

Tingdene Homes was started in 1969 and since then has been a market leader in the park and holiday home industry. With exceptionally high build standards and the constant drive to innovate, it is easy to see why Tingdene homes are a top choice amongst many park home owners.

The move from a standard ‘bricks and mortar’ home to a park home may be daunting. It is a break from the norm and a subject few outside of the industry are well versed on. Selling a well-loved family home may prove to be an overwhelming task in itself. Tingdene has considered all the stages that are involved in the move to a park home and has created a process whereby customers are supported at each step of the way. From initial enquiry, all the way through to siting a new park home and handing over the keys, Tingdene’s team is available to offer advice, support and information.

Tingdene’s first class service begins when you enter the showroom. You are met by the welcoming team and guided through to the large exhibition space with six homes displayed at any one time. Tingdene is the only UK manufacturer to have an indoor park home exhibition space; whatever the weather, you can view the homes in a comfortable and warm environment. The team is always on hand to answer questions, although they do encourage customers to wander around the homes at a leisurely pace so they can feel relaxed and at ease.

Lots of choice

The 1400 square meter exhibition space is regularly updated with new homes allowing customers to get the first look at any new models about to be launched into the market. The Visitor and Design Centre has an interior design area displaying the latest tiles, lights, fitted kitchen and bathroom with various flooring, wall and curtain options for each room. Visitors are encouraged to experiment with mixing and matching items to create their dream home. Tingdene’s in-house design team is also available to provide ideas and inspiration.

Bistro area

Whether it is your first time viewing park homes or you have made your way back to the Tingdene Visitor and Design Centre to provide specifications on your newly purchased home, Tingdene understands that the process is likely to take time to make sure every aspect is perfect. With that in mind, a bistro area is positioned at the heart of the showroom with refreshments being offered free of charge and food available for order.

Finding a park

Once a customer has realised the many benefits of owning a park home, the next step is to find a suitable location for it. Tingdene Homes provides visitors with a free-of-charge Locate-a-Park service. The process of finding a residential park may be mystifying to those new to the idea. Tingdene aims to make the process as easy as possible, allowing the customer to make the best choice for their requirements. With the hundreds of parks around, it can be an overwhelming task. Tingdene takes this stress off the customer by carrying out the search for them. With Locate-a-Park’s huge database and knowledge or various parks and areas, the team is able to find the perfect match.

The Locate-a-Park team works closely with many residential and holiday parks, both large and small. They are the first to hear about new plots that become available as well as having the inside scoop on any new Tingdene show homes being added. Show homes are a great option for those keen to move quickly; they can be moved into within a matter of weeks.

Whatever your requirements, the Tingdene team is there to help, advise and support. The team’s customer service is tailored to taking the stress off a normal house purchase and transforming the process into an enjoyable time in which you are able to create your dream home from scratch. With ever evolving designs, there is a home at Tingdene to suit everyone.
