Callington, six miles away. The farm shop, Trevallick’s, sells artisan breads, Cornish gins, honey and ales and even Cornish-made chocolate. And further afield? You’ll never be short of things to do in this region. There are the famous attractions of the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The Retreat

The standard two-bedroom Retreat is a sophisticated, luxury lodge that mixes rustic style with elegance and comfort. Red brick and rustic unfinished wood feature in the stunning styling creating a hand-crafted look.

Red brick surrounds the fireplace, housing a traditional log effect fire, and a rustic wooden beam structure stretches across the ceiling. An abundance of natural light floods into the lounge-dining area from French windows which cover both the width and height of the home.

The master bedroom is at the back of the lodge. Its décor follows the style of the lounge and creates almost a private retreat. An unrefined wooden panel wall behind the bed, along with luxuriously extravagant throws, reinforce the sense of comfort about this lodge.

And the kitchen? A deep, white ceramic sink, pale wood surfaces, a rustic brick feature wall between the upper and lower units and farmhouse-style units…. All gorgeous and beautifully coordinated – but then you can impose your own style ideas on your own very special Retreat!
