Quickmove Properties launches specialist park home resale service

917e6553-7698-4fc4-bc86-77de66d79f24

Residential park home specialist, Quickmove Properties, has launched a new service to help owners wishing to sell their park homes

This new estate agency service has been created in response to the high demand for park homes and current waiting lists experienced by parks in obtaining some new park homes.

Pre-owned homes, thus, are more in demand. That’s great news if you are wanting to sell a park home – and this new service removes the uncertainty and stress associated with the private sale processes.

About the new Quickmove service

Quickmove’s new service is in partnership with the Sell My Group, the park and holiday home buying portal that works with parks, manufacturers and customers.

The venture is designed to fulfill record demand from people looking to downsize to retirement parks, while easing the pressure caused by a limited supply of brand-new park homes.

How does it work?

The service is on a no-sale, no-fee basis and includes property valuation, arranging viewings and negotiating with buyers.

Floorplans are created and photography arranged. In partnership with Sell My Group, premium listings are created on estate agency services, Rightmove and On the Market websites.

Sellers benefit from comprehensive marketing coverage and gain immediate access to Quickmove’s existing list of registered buyers, all keen to purchase a park home.

Quickmove Sales Director, Mark O'Dwyer says,

Every day we’re asked by customers if we have pre-owned properties for sale or a broader range of prices. Following record growth in selling brand-new park homes for our park clients, we can now provide a wider range of homes and prices – especially important with UK property prices rising at record rates.

The selling process

The process of selling a park home is more streamlined than selling a bricks and mortar property. Park homes do not need an Energy Performance Certificate. There are only a few forms to complete, including a Buyers’ Information form and Notice of Proposed Sale.

Valuations, naturally, depend on the location of the park home and on its condition. Quickmove establishes its valuations by comparing a park home to prices of park homes sold in similar locations within a recent period of time.

Quickmove’s fee is payable only on completion of the sale; there are no upfront costs. The only other factor, as with any sale of a pre-owned park home, is that 10% of the sale price is payable to the park owner.

Valuation to completion: Quickmove's nine-point plan

Quickmove’s nine-point plan takes sellers through from valuation to completion:

  1. Quickmove provides a valuation
  2. A marketing price is agreed
  3. The property is prepared for selling
  4. Photography and marketing takes place
  5. Viewings are arranged
  6. An offer is accepted
  7. A solicitor is instructed
  8. Park home sale forms are completed
  9. On completion, payments are made from the proceeds of the sale

Years of experience

Quickmove, which has 20 years of experience in selling property and has earned a five-star customer service rating, offers a comprehensive marketing and portal listing package to ensure your property is seen by prospective buyers across multiple channels.

These include Quickmove’s email marketing and website, social media marketing, On the Market, Sell My Group and Rightmove. Quickmove can also arrange for a ‘For Sale’ board. Quickmove’s database of registered buyers is also used in the process.

From all of this, Quickmove’s aim, with its unique industry knowledge, is to make the selling process of your park home simple and stress-free from start to finish.

Your park home sale guide

Quickmove has produced a comprehensive guide to selling a park home, downloadable from the Quickmove website. It contains advice on how to prepare your park home for sale to maximise on its appeal.
