Juliots Well

43d5250b-e14a-48d3-802e-cc3d048b4984
SITUATED between the moors and the spectacular north Cornish coastline, Juliots Well is just a mile from the ancient town of Camelford and four miles from the beautiful beach at Trebarith Strand. It is close to historic Tintagel and the picturesque harbours at Boscastle and Port Isaac, while inland is Bodmin Moor and Jamaica Inn. As a result, Juliots Well Holiday Park is ideal for touring Cornwall with all it has to offer holidaymakers. It also provides a stunning spot for a luxury lodge to either rent or own.

It is a superb rural retreat set in 33 acres of sheltered parkland with shady woods, hedgerows and meadows, plus the Well from which the park gets its name. Dating from medieval times, the Well provided a welcome resting place for pilgrims and its holy waters and peaceful surroundings are still found to be beneficial today!

Amongst the accommodation at the spacious Holiday Park there are a wide range of luxurious timber lodges, some complete with hot tubs, well positioned to make the most of the natural surroundings with fine views over the countryside. The park is open for 12 months of the year for holiday use and facilities include a fly and float fishing lake, outdoor heated swimming pool (open mid-May to mid-September), level playing field with a children’s play area, shop and laundrette. In addition there is the large attractive Coach House bar with large screen TV and an à la carte menu with home cooked food using fresh local produce and Cornish breakfasts served every morning. There is also a varied entertainment programme on selected weeks during the season.

Top of the lodge ranges at Juliots Well are the 37’ x 20’ two-bedroom Camellia Lodges, with one double bedroom with en-suite and patio doors leading to a small verandah. The second bedroom has two twin beds and both bedrooms have a TV and DVD player. There is a separate de luxe bathroom. The beds are made-up for your arrival and towels plus tea towels are also included. The fully fitted kitchen features oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, iron and ironing board plus a wide range of utensils. The lounge has a widescreen TV plus DVD player and double sofa bed, plus a separate dining area. All electricity and heating are included, a hair drier is supplied and there is allocated parking.

Another two bedroom lodge option is the Azalea range 34’ x 20’, which are well appointed throughout with furnishings and equipment to four-star standards. Each unit is centrally heated and double glazed throughout and has its own verandah including patio furniture. There is also the popular Jasmine range of two bedroom 32’ x 12’ lodges. All the lodges benefit from a wide number of features and services as outlined above. Dogs are allowed subject to pre-booking.

Should you fall in love with the luxury lodge lifestyle at Juliots Well, lodges are available to buy with prices starting from £49,995 and there is a fully-managed sub-letting scheme which offers you the opportunity to make revenue from your holiday home.

With so much going on in the immediate area and with that fishing lake providing a definite attraction for anglers, Juliot’s Well Holiday Park is a splendid place in the north Cornish countryside to relax and enjoy yourself. With a luxury lodge as a holiday home, things could not get any better.
