Residential Park Profile: Warfield Park - a village atmosphere in Berkshire

Warfield Park is in Berkshire, just eight miles to the character town of Windsor and within easy distance of London. This is a residential estate like no other. Several key features set it apart. The land on which the park sits was once part of Windsor Great Park; magnificent, ancient trees shape Warfield Park’s character. This is one of very few parks that have no lower age restriction and its own community centre that hosts a programme of activities including a garden club. The park also has its own hair and beauty salons.

Large gardens are a feature of the park; the aspect is far more like a village than a park home development.

So, for all of those reasons, Warfield Park is a very special place. It’s set in more than 90 acres of parkland, meticulously maintained and with a woodland management and tree planting scheme in place. Shrubs and flower beds are designed to enhance the aspect created by the mature trees that define the park. Plots are angled carefully to create individuality and, because of the foliar character, you feel that you are living in a very rural location. Yet Warfield Park is conveniently close to Bracknell and also within easy distance of mainline trains to London, the M3 and M4.

Pets are welcome, allowing up to three pets per unit, and dog walking is a delight, straight from your door.

A new home due in April

A new home due to arrive at Warfield Park in April is a Tingdene Regency Classic.

This 44ft by 22ft home will be sited on a plot with a garage and parking space and, of course, a good-sized garden. The home has two bedrooms, with an en suite and walk-in wardrobe to the main bedroom. The lounge spans the width of the home with double doors leading through to the large dining kitchen.

The Regency Classic is an imposing home, with a feeling of elegance, created by luxurious décor and features including a classic cream fireplace. The kitchen has a light-flooding skylight and  fitted appliances include an electric eye-level double oven, dishwasher, washing machine and 50/50 fridge/freezer.

(The photos are not the actual home that will be at Warfield but they are typical of a Tingdene interior.)
