Park and holiday home profile: Aria Resorts

cead11ac-bdd2-4766-9088-4f50226f0e21

Five family resorts in Cornwall, three on the Isle of Wight and one in Yorkshire – there’s a wide variety in the Aria Resorts portfolio. And now, Aria is developing facilities at three more parks in Cornwall.

Aria Resorts is going places right now – increasing the choice available from this company for people interested in buying their own holiday retreat in a prime location.

Aria Resorts in Cornwall

Newperran Holiday Resort has just launched a new development called Newperran Heights. This offers luxury lodges from £124,950 and rooftop lodges from £159,995. These luxury lodges are available with either two, three or four bedrooms – and buyers can opt for a roof terrace, accessed by a spiral staircase.

Newperran also has holiday homes, starting at just £49,995.

Only a few miles from the fun and surfing of Newquay, yet far away from all the coast activity, amid farmland with lovely views from the park, Newperran is a brilliant holiday location with an array of features.

This park has an indoor swimming pool, an adventure playground and a skate park. The resort’s own bar and eaterie serves meals from breakfast through to dinner. Entertainment takes place here, too.

Just eight miles from the foodie paradise port of Padstow, famous for its Rick Stein restaurants, Retallack Resort and Spa offers luxury lodges from £199,950. These are barn-style lodges, with either two or three bedrooms – and hot tubs!

This a very special place, with an Aqua Park inflatable assault course, plus wakeboarding and a surf simulator, for surfing lessons. There are also tandem zorbs – giant balls for two in which you roll around the resort’s lake.

Stand-up paddle-boarding is an option, too – you can glide across the lake at your own pace.

Aria is also launching three newly rebranded sites in Cornwall. This follows the group’s acquisition of Peter Bull Resorts. The new additions to the Aria portfolio are Newquay Bay Resort (previously Newquay View Resort), Widemouth Fields and Bude Holiday Resort. Widemouth Fields is in open countryside less than five miles from Bude.

Crackington Haven, Port Isaac and the folklore village of Tintagel are nearby coastal attractions. Widemouth Fields has a bar and small shop. Owners here can use the facilities at nearby Bude Holiday Resort. These include a heated outdoor pool, adventure playground and café. The park has direct access to the South West Coastal Path.

Aria Resorts in Yorkshire

The Bay Filey has recently launched new three-bedroom units in its new gated holiday development of luxury lodges. Lodge prices start at £174,950. This park is adjacent to Filey’s beach and has direct access to the sand.

There’s an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, gym, sauna and steam room, plus a beauty room. The Bayside Kitchen serves light bites and meals are on offer at the dog-friendly John Paul Jones pub.

Aria Resorts onn the Isle of Wight

St Helens Coastal Resort opened in May this year, with holiday homes starting at £49,950. The park is on the island’s east coast with access to Priory Bay Beach. It has a range of holiday homes as well as luxury lodges, complete with roof terraces, from £249,950. This park has a swimming pool.

The Bay Colwell is at the western tip of the Isle of Wight, a short walk from Colwell Bay and its beach restaurant. Cottages are on sale from £150,000.
Attractions include a swimming pool, eaterie – and entertainment featuring acoustic guitar sets, close-up magic and quizzes.

The Lakes Rookley, a family resort in a parkland setting, has a range of holiday homes from £57,950, plus cottages from £165,000 and lakehouses from £184,950.
The Lakes Rookley is within 20 minutes of half of the island’s many beaches. The park has indoor and outdoor swimming pools. There’s a bar, an eaterie and entertainment
is on offer.
