Advertising feature – Court Mount, Birchington, Kent
Court Mount has some beautiful water gardens and an abundance of tropical plants, palm trees and 18th century Italian statues.
And now, as a result of the re-development, luxurious show homes are available suitable for immediate occupation, each with fully integrated kitchens.
Each home has its own manageable garden, with concrete shed provided, and all have expertly built brick skirts and steps with wrought iron handrails.
As well as show homes and pre-owned homes, orders are now being taken for homes of all sizes – right up to the largest models – all built and fitted out to the highest specification.
All the necessary amenities are just a short walk away from the park, and include major high street banks and building societies, doctors and dentist’s surgeries, and an extensive supermarket.
The nearest pubs are The Acorn and The Powell Arms, both less than a quarter-of-a-mile away. There are also a variety of restaurants and takeaways within a mile of the park.
The unspoilt beach of Minnis Bay is within walking distance, while other lovely beach walks are just a couple of miles away by car. The beautiful North Downs are within easy reach too, as is the sea-foodies’ haven of Whitstable.
Towering above the nearby seaside town of Broadstairs, Bleak House, the home of writer Charles Dickens, was the model for the fictional property of the novel and was where he wrote David Copperfield and others.
Nearby, another old property is home to the Dickens House Museum, although he did not live in it.
Near the centre of Birchington, Quex Park is one of Britain’s lesser-known attractions, with an historic house, gardens, mature woodlands and a museum of the natural history and ethnology of Africa and India, as well as local archaeology, textiles and ceramics. The park features a tower with a unique cast iron spire and 12 bells.
At the time of writing homes included a 32x20 Omar Sandringham, now at £155,000; a 48x20 Omar Heritage at £175,000; and a 28x22 Prestige Sonata 2 at £135,000. Vacant plots were also available for the home of your choice
