500-plus park home owners can’t be wrong…

72b25b58-9858-4c7a-83fb-a38dcc474d98

When Barry Sumner started working at Warfield Park near Bracknell, Berkshire, it had a grand total of 22 plots. But that was in 1974.

Some 42 years later he is still there – as managing director – and the park now has more than 500 residential park homes.

What’s more, plans are well advanced for a further extension bringing the number up to just under 600.

Spread across 176 acres of woodland, Warfield is like an extensive country park.

Given its layout and location, it’s as pleasant a place to live in a park home as you could imagine.

No wonder people are already forming an orderly queue for the 82 new homes, which, planning consent approval permitting, are due to start coming on stream by the end of the year.

What may make it even more attractive for some is that there is no minimum age.

Two new plots are currently in the process of development with show homes due for siting within days: a 45ft x 20 Tingdene Hayden with a turnkey price of around £310,000 and a 50ft x 22 Lissett Arabesque, c.£400,000.

Monthly plot fees have been set at £226.56 and pets are allowed.
