Young Conversions

- How it all started

Linda and Mike Young have been campers and travellers for more years than they care to admit to. They have undertaken many expeditions in South East Asia, India, the Middle East and Europe including the classic overland trip from Singapore to the UK.

"We started by building our own camper vans and in our previous careers as teachers the long summer holidays proved ideal for testing and refining our designs. Happily many people who saw our conversions liked them and asked us to build one for them."

They founded the company in 1988, since when they've designed and built conversions on many base vehicles and always found the time to test the final outcome ourselves. As a result they're present products combine the practicality, safety and robustness demanded by all motorcaravanners with the stylishness expected from todays motor homes.

"Since 2007 we have been joined by our son Robbie and his wife Anastasia. Robbie and Ana are also keen motorcaravanners which means that our enthusiasm for our products is being continued through the next generation."

The company continues to design and build high quality motorhome conversions on an ever increasing variety of base vehicles - including special vehicles for the film industry, medical, motorsport, expeditions, sports people and the equestrian fraternity as well as bespoke designs for clients with a variety of disabilities.

For more than a quarter of a century their name has become synonymous with bespoke motorhome design and manufacturing excellence. Everything they create is uniquely hand crafted, always producing practical designs from customers basic sketches and ideas.
