Space – with two large lounge areas – and berths (and seatbelts) for six are the key aspects of the biggest model in the Sundance range, the Swift Sundance 630L.

Want to know a motorhome’s greatest luxuries? They’re not a big television or leather upholstery, but rather space and flexibility. It’s having enough room for the amount of people there are berths for, and then the ability to change the configuration to suit your requirements.

These are things the Swift Sundance family have always offered. They may be the British firm’s more affordable models (behind Kon-Tiki, Voyager and Bolero, but above Escape) but their spaciousness and value-for-money has seen them become a popular choice with families.

From two berths to six, there’s a model that should fit most people’s requirements, but compared to its newer rivals, the Sundance range has looked a little old-fashioned recently.

So last year Swift gave the six-model range (four low and two high-lines) a much-needed facelift inside and out. But is it enough for the range to keep up with its rivals?

We tested all the low-lines back in the May 2010 issue – now we’ve got a six-berth 630L for six months to find out if it cuts the mustard
