Full review

The I 6900 SB is a compact motorhome – it’s less than 7m in length – yet provides exceptional interior space thanks largely to its open floor plan design.

And, though it falls into the compact class at 6.98m, it’s also family-friendly, with four berths and four belted travel seats. There are twin single beds in the rear of the layout – these are positioned above a large garage – and a drop-down double bed above the cab.

The drop-down double bed is a pretty generous size, measuring 2.00m by 1.50m. Should you prefer, the two single beds at the back can be expanded into a large double bed, too. So, if you’re travelling with friends for a weekend away or something longer, the I 6900 SB is suitable for holidaying couples.

Walking through the interior from the rear, there’s an L-shaped kitchen, featuring a three-burner hob – clearly, cooking for all won’t be an issue here with these facilities. Opposite the kitchen is a large fridge, with a smaller freezer section.

The all-in-one washroom is beside the fridge, and features a swing wall to create a separate shower, dividing it off from the toilet.

You get a small side seat next to the door, seating for two to three people around a dinette in the lounge, and the cab seats swivel to turn and face the living area. There are USB sockets here and in the sleeping areas and flyscreens at the door and windows.

A major plus is the spacious garage, which is fitted with tie-down points, safety locks and anti-slip mats to help you maximise the storage space available.
