Carado’s Perfect 10 special edition motorhomes celebrate the firm’s 10-year existence by throwing a whole host of goodies at a selection of models, and the T447 is one of them

The celebratory version sports the Emotion Pack, which provides champagne-coloured side walls and restyled rear lights.

Other external features include a wind-out 4.5-metre awning and a four-bike rack.  Indoors, the Perfect 10 boasts half-leather upholstery, new design locker doors and a 19-inch TV and satellite system with automatic dish on the roof.

Other standard-fit kit is very good as well, with traction control, air-conditioning, passenger airbag and cruise control in the cab. The living area gets a sunroof over the driver’s quarters, 6kW dual-fuel heating, an oven and a 167-litre fridge/freezer.

Significant options include a drop-down bed above the lounge, fifth travel seat and kit that allows the lounge to be made up as a single bed. It’s when all the bed options boxes are ticked that the fifth travel seat is needed, as the T447 changes from a two to a five-berth.

As the layout is pretty conventional for the type, it will be the details that’ll make you say yes or no to buying this motorhome.

Décor is mid brown with contrasting white panels, so it’s very difficult to dislike. The Perfect 10 half-leather upholstery is beautifully made but, in cream, is not really red wine or chocolate friendly.  Overall, the interior is light, bright and modern without being too harsh.

Nice touches include LED lamps that shine down from the leading edge of the overhead lockers and there’s a good range of spots, too. The lounge boasts a substantial table and the twin-belted forward-facing bench, swivelling cab seats and side seating should give enough room for five to sit and socialise in reasonable comfort.

The kitchen has a conventional L-shaped design, with cooker on one side and fridge on the other. We Brits will be pleased to discover that the oven is mounted low down beneath the three-burner hob. As is usual, the sink has no drainer, but it’s a good size.

Across the way, things are a bit different, as the fridge/freezer sits below a handy flat surface with digibox locker behind – that’s because the TV is fixed to the adjacent wall.

Time-honoured with this design, the well-considered separate shower and toilet/washing facilities are divided and serve the bedroom as an en suite, with the washroom door swung across the aisle. A curtain encloses just the bed area for better privacy, too.

The twin beds are a substantial 2.10m and 2.15m long, and 0.80m wide, which is pretty good going.

Clothes storage is taken care of with overhead lockers.  Outside, bulky kit can be loaded into the garage, which has a door on each side.

At the time of writing, Travelworld has just one T447 Perfect 10 left in stock, so be quick...
