You can expect dealer special motorhomes to appear on forecourts up and down the country based on 2020 models.
Mostly, these will be at the largest retailers of motorhomes and campervans and, in the main, they’ll be based on entry-level Elddis and Swift motorhomes but with added spec and, perhaps, some cosmetic (graphics, upholstery, etc) differences.
However, here is something brand-new for the coming model year – Adria’s first UK dealer special.
This special edition is exclusive to Geoff Cox Leisure, based near Derby, and its base is the Adria Matrix low-profile with a drop-down bed – a ‘crossover’ in Adria-speak. It is based on the latest Euro 6d Fiat Ducato with the 140bhp engine and stop/start. Two layouts will be available – the 670 SC (7.50m long with island bed) and the 670 SL (7.38m with twin beds over a garage). Both versions are priced at £61,995 on-the-road.
That figure includes over £6,000-worth of extras, including cab air-conditioning, cruise control, a passenger airbag, alloy wheels, solar panel, radio with built-in sat-nav, rear view camera, leather steering wheel, upgraded windows, a tracker security system, a roll-out awning and premium upholstery.
As with all 2020-season Adria Matrix models, the special editions include enhanced interior lighting and uprated flooring and electrical sockets in the garage. Also standard are an electric drop-down bed over the lounge, panoramic window above the cab, Duplex oven/grill, separate shower, large fridge and Truma heating.
The coachbuilt body uses Adria’s Comprex construction with Styrofoam insulation and polyester exterior cladding.
