New van conversion in progress
A van conversion to rival VW T5 conversions will be launched by West Yorkshire-based WildAx Motorhomes at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC on 17 Feb. The Pulsar, based on the short wheelbase Citroen Relay, will be available in two variants, one with a two-berth layout, the other as a four-berth with an extra bed in the roof. The main feature of the Pulsar is that it will be a short, L1-length, motorhome that you can fit into a standard size garage, but will feature four full-sized travel seats, a full-size washroom with shower, and a well-equipped kitchen.
The initial model will feature a 130bhp engine and plenty of equipment in the cab with air-con, DAB radio, sat nav, tracking, leather steering wheel and gear knob. The price point is expected to be well under £40,000.
There are full details of the new model and a roundup of NEC news in the March issue of MMM magazine, on sale 5 Feb. You can also see reviews of the latest motorhomes in Which Motorhome.
