Wellhouse tour brings home the bacon

After a tour of its network of Ford retailers across the UK and Ireland in November, Wellhouse Leisure has already received orders worth over £275,000 for its new top-of-the-range Ford Terrier M-Sport Camper that was launched at the Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham’s NEC in October.

Five Ford retailers immediately ordered the striking £55,000 Terrier M-Sport Camper, which will arrive in the showrooms of Haynes Ford Maidstone, Brakes Motors Illminster and Hartwell Ford at Dunstable, Grimsby and Abingdon early in 2016.

The Terrier M-Camper is based on a luxury conversion of a Ford Transit Custom by M-Sport, the motorsport specialist that creates Ford’s World Rally Championship vehicles. The distinctive, rally-style exterior features a full body-kit with lowered suspension, 18-inch limited-edition alloy wheels, side arch extensions, new front and rear bumpers, a rear tailgate spoiler and quad exhaust system.

The interior of the cab has also received special treatment from M-sport, including white M-Sport limited edition dials, Nappa leather seats with M-Sport logo, blue seatbelts, and thicker sport steering wheel with full leather cover, blue stitching and M-Sport logo. The full Wellhouse conversion includes an elevating roof, a rear seat that slides on rails to maximise storage or living space, as required, and the latest, sleek, Italian-designed furniture from Tecnoform including a fridge, cooker, sink and plenty of storage. A full video tour of the Terrier M-Sport Camper is available here: https://vimeo.com/145659976.

The Terrier M-Camper also has a performance upgrade with the top of the range Ford 2.2 litre Duratorq TDCi engine with 155PS as standard, with 385 Nm of torque and a six-speed manual transmission.

David Elliott, Managing Director of Wellhouse Leisure commented: “We are delighted that our new Terrier M-Sport Camper is already proving such a success and that nationwide network of Ford retailers was so excited about it.”
