Wellhouse launches new Ford and VW campervans

Wellhouse Leisure has launched a new version of its Ford Terrier 2, called the Le Tour, and a new campervan on the Volkswagen T6.

Prices for the new Ford campervan start at £34,000. The model, which is based on the Ford Tourneo Custom, has more interior space thanks to an optional (£750), removable 'camping pod' kitchen, which gives it the flexibility to be a people-carrier, load carrier or campervan.

It has a sliding, full-width rear seat with three seatbelts, plus full interior trim, lighting, electrics, curtains and an SCA elevating roof, with the option of a roof bed.

Wellhouse is also offering this conversion on used Ford Transit/Tourneo Custom models.

For the first time in many years, Wellhouse is also offering a limited number of Volkswagen campervans based on the new VW T6, as well as used models.

Using the traditional side kitchen layout with fresh and waste water tanks, plus SMEV hob and sink, these VW campervans will have an SCA elevating roof (with optional roof-bed), Eberspacher heating system, mains hook-up, solar panel and a sliding, three-seat rear bench seat.

Available with a choice of Volkswagen’s 2.0-litre diesel engines, with prices starting from £44,500, the first model, with an 84PS, 2.0-litre engine, is due to be ready by the end of January.

Finally, last summer’s successful return of the award-winning Wellhouse Hyundai i800 Camper, based on the i800 people carrier, has led to the appointment of four specialist dealers to make this model more available across the UK. The new dealers are
