Welcoming the i-Camper

3e0fa2a1-6478-4acb-b18f-0b99faf36817
Wellhouse Leisure will officially introduce the new i-camper, based on Hyundai’s i800 MPV, at the Boat & Caravan, taking place at the NEC on February 22-27, 2011.

Priced at £33,000 OTR (including the new VAT rate) and with a five-year warranty, the new camper offers a modern, common-rail 170PS diesel engine with five-speed manual gearbox.

Exterior equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, reversing sensors, silver metallic paint, privacy glass, remote central locking with alarm, front fog lights, ABS, EBD (electronic brake force distribution) and ESP (electronic stability programme).

Inside, the i-camper boasts a six-speaker stereo with MP3 compatibility and steering wheel controls, twin airbags, trip computer, electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning and heated driver’s seat.

The living space offers four berths (with the option of a cab bed to take the sleeping up to five), cab passenger swivel seat, compressor fridge, SMEV combined hob and sink, SMEV mini-oven/grill, Webasto heating and hot water system, Reimo elevating roof and a tailgate shower.

The first i-campers, manufactured at Wellhouse’s new facility at Shepley, Yorkshire, will be available to view at the show this week.

A collaboration with Hyundai means that the i-camper will be sold by selected Hyundai dealers as well as by Wellhouse.

For more information and specification details, contact Wellhouse Leisure on 01484 600416 or visit www.wellhouseleisure.com. Or visit its stand at the show.
