Vango launches new range of tents

Unless you have a six-berth motorhome, extra beds inside can be anything from a cramped experience to a poor night’s sleep on a lumpy lounge conversion.

If you have a campervan, it’s even worse as everyone is right on top of each other. Spread out by taking a tent and put the extra people outside in it. Vango has a range of compact tents for 2015 to suit motorhomers.

The Ark range is an easy-to-pitch, gothic arch, tunnel tent. This two-person tent offers generous internal space, head room and large front windows. All-in-one pitching and a simple two-pole structure means that the Ark can be pitched in under five minutes, making this an ideal tent for those who want a great quality, feature-packed tent that pitches and packs away with maximum ease. The Ark 200 costs £95.

Next up and new for 2015 is the rather strange looking Sierra range. This three-person semi geodesic tent comes with a duel entry flysheet giving you flexibility to protect yourself in bad weather but still enjoy the lovely view out of the other door. The Sierra has a combination of great stability and space making it the perfect tent if you have children along at a site and they want their own space. The Sierra 300 is £125.Alpha 250

A more traditional look comes courtesy of the Alpha range which has been redesigned. This is a dome design with porch and is an affordable, easy-to-pitch tent that features a stylish and functional gothic arch porch pole, plus clear windows to brighten the interior. The stable structure offers generous headroom whilst the superior waterproof and fire retardant fabrics make this well-ventilated tent an ideal choice for outdoor adventurers, cyclists and small groups needing a small pack size for the motorhome. The Alpha 250 will set you back £75.

Pop 200 Ds

Lastly, here’s one for when you really don’t want to spend much time getting the tent out and setting it up. The Pop range is a two person, super-fast pop-up design making perfect for campervans at festivals and short stay trips when you just want to pitch and go have a great time. The Pop is also very light, so it won’t dent your payload. You can pick up a Pop 200 DS for £90. More from vango.co.uk.
