Travelworld signs exclusive deal

Shropshire-based Travelworld Motorhomes has signed an exclusive franchise deal with one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of motorhome suspension and levelling systems.
The dealer is now sole agent for the products of German brand Goldschmitt techmobil GmbH, providing parts and accessories service and repair for UK customers.Service Manager at Travelworld Motorhomes, Erik Baxendale, said: “There are a lot of European motorhomes fitted with Goldschmitt parts and many customers previously had to have their vehicles taken back to the Goldschmitt engineering centre in Germany for maintenance work, so it’s fantastic to be able to remove this barrier and provide customers with a straightforward one-stop service with us.”
Gunnar Edler, Managing Director of Goldschmitt, has welcomed Travelworld as its UK partner and said he believes that the company has the depth of customer understanding that mirrors his own organisation.
He says that the application of logic is key to understanding what motorhome customers need in terms of comfort and safety, adding that investment in air suspension and levelling systems is one of the main reasons why customers come to his company.
Travelworld has a distinctly Teutonic feel at present, adding Goldschmitt techmobil GmbH to current German motorhome offerings from the Hymer Group, including Niesmann + Bischoff, Hymer and HymerCar
