Tour Portcullis House this summer
Available, initially, for two days a month from May to July the tours offer a rare opportunity to view Portcullis House, the only new building commissioned by Parliament since the Palace of Westminster in the 19th century.
Portcullis House is the home of the House of Commons contemporary portrait collection. This unique collection of art, records leading Parliamentarians in paintings, works on paper and photographs.
Guided tours of the main parliament buildings, the Houses of Parliament, are available every Saturday and during summer opening which this year has been confirmed as July 29 to September 3 and September 19 to October 1, 2011.
