Sun Living tweaks motorhome range for 2019

Sun Living was only relaunched last year so there is not a huge amount of changes for the coming season. Before last year’s motorhome relaunch, the Sun Living range was a pared back selection of standard Adria models, with slighting different interior and exterior looks. However, 2018 saw a complete change, with Sun Living becoming it’s own range, with different designs, layouts and looks.

This year it’s a case of tweaking what is there. Interiors get a slight restyle with new materials and colours (lockers are now a beige gloss rather than matt white and the floors and worktops are darker), while the fabrics have a slightly different texture. Darker accents have also been added to the washrooms. Cupboards get new soft closers and hinges.

In the van conversions (V Series), you can now order a curtain on the dinette window as an option, while the seating in the rear of the V65SL can be specified with the lounge textile.

In the S Series low-profiles (with six models as last year), garage doors are now slightly wider; some get an extra 5cm, while the longest model gets an extra 21cm. Two of these S Series have an optional drop-down bed (70DF and SC) and two come as standard with a drop-down bed above the lounge (70SP and 75SL).

The overcabs are called A Series and have the same two models as last year – one with a transverse double and one with the twin rear bunks. As with last year’s models selected low-profiles and overcabs come with the clever hideaway bathroom that allows a wider aisle and a greater feeling of space.

Prices remain unchanged for this season, so the V Series starts at £41,925, the S Series at £44,925 and the A Series is from £47,225. Just remember that if you want cab-air-con, cruise control and a passenger airbag you’ll need to add Pack 1 at £1,819, while Pack 2 also includes front fogs, leather steering wheel/gear knob, ESP, Traction+ and Hill Descent for £2,589.
