Solar Technology announces range of solar solutions for battery top-up

1f3d13f8-3b85-42ec-821f-b2cdded6467f

UK based engineering company Solar Technology International, has solar powered solutions designed to liberate motorhomers from the confines of the electric hook up this holiday season and beyond.

Adrian Williams, Founder and Managing Director of Solar Technology International said, “We are constantly striving to find innovative and simple solar-powered solutions, to assist people in their everyday lives. Like us, we know motorhomers value spontaneity, adventure and freedom, something that is not always possible when motorhome location is dictated by electric hook up.”

The range of equipment starts with the PV Logic Solar Panel Kits that harness the power of the sun and provide enough electricity to run devices ranging from lighting to water pumps and televisions. They also have the added benefit of operating as trickle chargers so that when a motorhome is not in use, provided the roof remains exposed to the sun, the leisure battery will remain topped up, additionally it can help power an alarm system.

The PV Logic Solar Panel rooftop kits range from 20W to 150W and have been designed for simple installation. Each Panel Rooftop Kit includes step by step instructions, as well as a customised bracket for practical, stylish fitting. Alternatively, the required size of PV Logic Solar Panel can be retro-fitted by one of the manufacturers’ Premier Dealers.

The PV Logic Flexi Solar Panel rooftop kits provide a low profile, super lightweight panel that simply glues to the motorhome roof, these shatterproof panels range from 10W to 80W and flex to fit any curvature in the roof surface. Each panel also has ‘self healing’ technology, slight abrasions to the panel surface caused by tree branches for example are ‘healed’ within a few hours.

The PV Logic Fold Up Solar Panel is fully portable and does not require fixing to the motorhome roof, it connects directly to the motorhome’s leisure battery and folds into a tough and portable briefcase.  It can be unfolded and located outside the motorhome to face the sun by means of adjustable support legs. The PV Logic Fold Up Solar Panel is available in 40W, 60W and 90W.

All PV Logic Solar Panels are water resistant and have been electrically and micro crack tested.  They come with a 20 year solar cell warranty.
