Showgoers set to descend on Peterborough
The event is a great place to visit for anyone in the market for a new motorhome or for those who simply want to socialise with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy a packed programme of entertainment.
Taking place between 25 and 27 April, there will also be hundreds of outdoor accessories and gadgets to stock up on.
Visitors booking a pitch from Thursday to Monday will receive an invite to the exclusive Thursday afternoon opening of the new Peterborough Exec exhibition hall, giving them the chance to be among the first to view the latest models and show offers.
The hall will form the base for leading UK dealers such as Brownhills, Camper UK, Lowdham Leisureworld, Oakwell, Timberland and Travel World. Sponsored by the Caravan Club, the hall will also showcase the 2008 MMM award winners.
Although many visitors will choose to camp over the weekend, day tickets are also available.
The event also offers a packed programme of entertainment:
* Thursday evening: Country music from the Texas Tornadoes and the Smokey Mountain Boys.
* Friday evening: The Houndogs and Sound of the Drifters. Plus, music from Notown Without Motown in the Cambridge Suite.
* Saturday afternoon and evening: Top of the bill is the razor-witted Julian Clary with support from Viva Las Vegas Live Show starring ‘Elvis’ and special guests. The Cambridge Suite will host 60s and 70s music from Vivo and during the afternoon there is children’s entertainment from Potty Patrick.
* Sunday: Music from The Abba Girls and The Ivy League.
The onsite evening entertainment is free to campers, except Saturday’s entertainment for which tickets are available.
