Sanef extends Liber-t to UK motorists

2fbb544c-205c-4a27-85f3-639958279c7e
Sanef, the French motorway operator, has now extended its Liber-t automatic toll payment service to UK motorists.

To use the service all you need to do is register online and you will be sent a small electronic tag to attach to your windscreen just behind the rear-view mirror.

As you approach the barriers (in the automated lane), a device by the barrier will read your tag, securely extract your unique reference and then automatically open the barrier without you having to stop.

ou will receive an invoice the following month for your tolls and then 10-15 days later Sanef will automatically collect the payment in GBP (avoiding the changeable exchange rate) from your bank account by direct debit.

How much does it cost?

The tolls are the same cost that you would pay at the barrier, plus subscription fees (again, charged in GBP), which includes: a refundable security deposit of 20 euros for each tag issued by Sanef; an annual management fee of 6 euros + TVA payable in advance; and a non-refundable application fee of 10 euros + TVA. This is a total up-front fee of 39.14 euros (including TVA) of which 20 euros is refundable if you return the tag.

In addition to the subscription fees, subscribers pay a monthly service fee of 5 euros + TVA for each calendar month in which the subscriber uses the Liber-t system - up to a maximum fee of 10 Euros + TVA per year per tag.

Please note, this service is only available for motorhomes with a height less than 3m and a GVW less than or equal to 3,500kg.

See www.saneftolling.co.uk for more and to order your Liber-t tag.
