RS Motorhomes launches Ford Transit-based Equinox

RS Motorhomes, which specialises in motorhomes for sports enthusiasts, has recently extended its Equinox range by building on the new Ford Transit with a 2.2-litre engine offering 123bhp.

Although an entry-level model, the Equinox is built to the same high quality and uses the same materials as the other members of the RS Motorhome range. The Equinox is available in a number of layouts. They are fully equipped with living accommodation, whilst the MX extra long wheelbase utility vehicle version has a large garage/workshop area in the rear to cater for the motor sport enthusiast.

The luxurious interior is finished in leather and comes with an independent heating system, shower and toilet area, and a galley equipped with sink, fridge and cooking appliances. A range of optional extras includes air conditioning, automatic gearbox, outside shower, barbecue point and solar panels.

The new Ford Transit version starts from £49,995 compared to the Mercedes Sprinter version that costs from £79,285.
