Rimor unveils new sub-£62k motorhome range

Already a brand known for its value-for-money vehicles, Italian motorhome manufacturer, Rimor, has announced a new Ford-based motorhome range for 2023 which will undercut its existing Evo models by around £2,000

Called Kilig, the vehicles take their name from the Filipino language, Tagalog, defining the feeling of euphoria caused by an exciting or romantic experience.

The new range includes both overcab and low-profile models. In the overcab Kilig line-up there are six layouts, ranging from 5.9m to 7.2m: 4 (half-dinette, rear transverse double bed), 5 (pullman dinette, rear transverse double), 9 (rear bunk beds), 50 (quadruple bunks), 669 (island bed) and 695 (single beds).

There are a further five low-profile layouts: Kilig 18 Plus (half-dinette, rear transverse double bed), 67 Plus (large front lounge, rear washroom and garage), 69 Plus (island bed), 95 Plus (single beds) and 66 Plus (island bed, side settee lounge).

All models feature contemporary interior design and a new look for the overcab pod.

UK-bound vehicles are expected to feature an enhanced specification, including Ford’s 168bhp (170PS) engine, a Sky View sunroof on low-profile models, an entrance door with window and flyscreen, cab seat covers and an oven.

But the most important feature of all is the Kilig’s price tag, with importer, Motorhomes & Caravans Ltd of Hull, promising that all layouts will come in at under £62,000. In fact, they start at just £57,495 for the Kilig 4.

You’ll be able to see Rimor’s new budget range at the NEC show in October, where an even better deal will include a solar panel and tracker.
