Pilote has launched its 2016 range of motorhomes, which includes everything from panel van conversions, to low profile coachbuilts, A-classes and a luxury range from LeVoyageur.
Range-wide improvements include dropping the use of wood completely so that all UK models have GRP sides and roofs and that all drop-down beds are electrically operated.Star turn was the A-class G650L, which has been specifically designed with the UK market in mind.
It’s a compact motorhome at just 6.5m in length, and yet on entering the habitation door you are greeted with a large lounge with plenty of seating around it. With the rotating driving seats, up to eight people can be hosted in the lounge and when it’s time to turn in for the night, the drop down bed provides sleeping arrangements for two.
The layout means that there is a decent amount of room for the kitchen and end washroom facilities. There are three levels of trim available and payloads of up to 590kg on the GVW of 3,500kg in the Essentiel version. Prices will be announced at the NEC show in October.
More details of the new Pilote will be published in the October issue of MMM magazine. You can subscribe to the paper version of MMM here and save or you can subscribe to the digital issue of MMM here and save even more!
