Motorhome manufacturer Bailey of Bristol celebrates 70th anniversary
Bailey of Bristol, which manufactures motorhomes and caravans at its South Liberty Lane factory, is celebrating reaching 70 years of leisure vehicle production and design
In 1948, FG Bailey Ltd was formed, the company developed rapidly throughout the 1950s eventually outgrowing its original site and moving to its present address at South Liberty Lane in 1960.
In 1977 the company was purchased by Patrick and Stephen Howard and has remained in Howard family ownership ever since.
After decades of caravan manufacturing, the company began building motorhomes in 2011, with the launch of its Advance and Autograph motorhome ranges.
The company has continued to grow and received widespread acclaim for its motorhome ranges, which are all built on Peugeot Boxer base vehicles.
The Bristol-based manufacturer will launch its all-new Advance entry-level motorhome range in the coming weeks.
