New Ford Transit-based campervan name and specification revealed

Wellhouse Leisure has unveiled its new Ford Tourneo Custom-based campervan – and revealed for the first time, it's name – the Terrier.
Huddersfield-based Wellhouse Leisure, which was the first UK converter to announce detailed plans for a Transit-based camper – officially launched the new model at the Motorhome and Caravan Show, Birmingham NEC.The new campervan, which will cost from £39,995, benefits from the Tourneo Custom’s car-like specification levels.
Wellhouse Leisure Terrier, at a glance:
• First UK campervan conversion based on new Ford Tourneo Custom
• Ford Tourneo Custom chosen for conversion as more luxurious than equivalent Transit
• Offers car-like drivability and ergonomic dashboard
• Developed with full co-operation from Ford UK
• Full European Whole Vehicle Type Approval, and three year warranty
• 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine: 125 PS and 43.5 mpg (combined), six speed manual gearbox (100 and 155PS versions available)
• Versatile and practical: same length as a family estate (4972 mm), five seats with large boot, offering two double beds, plus elevating roof, heater, cooker, sink and fridge
• High specification includes: Bluetooth, air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, heated windscreen, privacy glass, solar panel, cruise control, leather steering wheel with remote controls, automatic headlights, metallic paint - and a portable toilet.
