Motorhome Holiday Company celebrates first birthday

Bristol-based Motorhome Holiday Company is claiming major successes a year after being set up – as well as planning some serious growth for the future, based on its try-before-you-buy schemes

Founder, Matt Sims, says the first year has been “unbelievably successful”, allowing him to extend his hire fleet from an initial three vehicles to 18 for this season. The hire fleet has everything from a Sun Living Flexo van conversion to an Adria Sonic Supreme A-class with extras, valued at £92,000.

Try-before-you-buy has been a constant theme, too, in partnership with Adria and its UK dealer network.
“More and more consumers are getting the bug for taking to the road,” said Matt.

“I want to expand the fleet to purchase an additional 50 units over the next three years, getting to 22 within the next 12 months. There are plans to introduce new Motorhome Holiday Company branches as well, with Truro and Cardiff being the first additions.

"Although Bristol will always be our heartland, we need to expand to service customer demand beyond the Bristol gateway to the south-west and, indeed, across the UK.”
