Motorhome and caravan manufacturer exports to Sri Lanka
During the trip, the Auto-Sleepers Gloucester motorhome was launched at a presentation evening in Colombo. IWS Leisure chairman Arthur Senanayake commented: “These new luxury motorhomes are the first of their kind in Sri Lanka and with the extensive range of motorhomes that Auto-Sleepers provides, customers will be spoilt for choice.”
Arthur also revealed that the company would introduce a Caravan Club concept as part of the introduction of the luxury motorhomes. Caravan campsites will be set up in scenic locations throughout Sri Lanka to boost the tourism industry. IWS Leisure will rent out these motorhomes with a driver to provide tourists and locals alike with the ability to explore the country’s tourist destinations in the comfort of their own mobile home.
Geoff Scott, CEO of Auto-Sleepers said: “As a Cotswold based company, we are proud to extend our export business to Asia, having already secured revenue streams in Auckland, New Zealand.”
Exclusively available through IWS Leisure in Sri Lanka, the County range of motorhomes brings together the most respected brands in the motorhome industry – Mercedes-Benz and Auto-Sleepers.
Geoff has recently returned to Sri Lanka along with Mark Burdett and Paul Oliver, both part of the Auto-Sleepers Service Centre, to attend the launch presentation to the Sri Lankan public and also to train the technicians and sales staff in how to complete service work and vehicle hand-overs.
