Moto-Trek X-Cite G launched at show

Get ready for excitement and more room inside

A new addition to the Peugeot Boxer-based coachbuilt  range from Motor-Trek, with the radical slide-out lounge, was launched at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC, Birmingham. The X-Cite G features an AL-KO chassis and offers two berth accommodation with a rear, fixed, transverse double-bed over a handy garage space. Under the hood is a 150bhp 2.2 HDi, six-speed Euro 5 engine, while overall length is 6.38m. A key fact is the running weight of 3,250kg, which leaves a maximum user payload of just 250kg to keep it under the 3,500kg limit.

The key features of the X-Cite G include the slide-outside seating area which creates more space in the lounge and separates it from the kitchen facilities on the opposite wall. There is a gas oven/grill, microwave, 90-litre fridge and three gas burner hob. A 25-litre LPG gas tank supplies it. Water is via a 100-litre fresh water tank, with an equal-sized waste water tank. The front two seats swivel around the cab has cruise control, Bluetooth, air-con and passenger air bag. Entertainment is courtesy of a radio/CD player and there are electric windows and mirrors, plus alloy wheels for a stylish look. Front fog lights are also standard and there is a choice of three fabric or leather furnishings and three high gloss wood finishes.

The bathroom is packed in next to the bedroom, a small wardrobe is opposite, leaving a very narrow gap in the middle. There’s a toilet, washbasin and overhead shower in the compartment.

On the road pricing has been set at £54,999 and the X-Cite G is available now.
