Mobile motorhome tyre fitting call-outs rise by 80% in three years

Research by mobile tyre fitter, TyresOntheDrive.com, shows that the number of call-outs by motorhome and caravan owners has risen by more than 80% in the last three years.

Ray Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer of TyresOnTheDrive, said: “We have seen enormous growth over the past few years among caravan and motorhome owners discovering a puncture either at home before they set off or when they want to pack up and head back. “In just the past three years alone, we have seen a rise of 81% in caravan and motorhome call-outs.”

Demand for home-fit, generally, has more than doubled in the past few years and Google data shows that online searches for it has rocketed from around 25,000 in February 2015 to approaching 60,000 in the same month this year.
