Malibu adds an extra A-class

Carthago’s more affordable brand, Malibu, has added an extra model to its A-class range – the I 440 LE. This single-bed-over-garage layout vehicle features the unusual nearside extending single bed first seen in the Carthago Chic range. When not in use the bed retracts, but for sleeping the foot of the mattress stretches into the shower cubicle.

It also has a lounge area with a L-shaped seating, a separate column fridge and a double floor.

Malibu motorhomes are aimed at a younger (45+) age group than Carthagos and, up until now, only its van conversions have been seen here, sold through selected Carthago dealers. A separate dealer network is planned for the A-class and low-profile vehicles which are likely to make their debut here at next February’s NEC show.
