Multi-concept vehicle for luxury camper market

While most motorhomes at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC, Birmingham, had already been announced, it was left to the campervan convertors to spring the surprises. Horizon Multi-Concept Vehicles (MCV), a British luxury automotive company, launched a campervan conversion of Mercedes-Benz’ New Vito. This was the first time the New Vito model from Mercedes-Benz had been displayed in public in the UK.

With a slick, streamlined exterior design, including a more pronounced grill and greater dimensions, the New Vito was finished off with handcrafted interiors fitted by Horizon MCV’s experienced Yorkshire-based team. Boasting an electronically controlled bench-to-bed facility and elevating roof, the New Vito provides accommodation for up to four adults and one child. The fittings include upholstered leather furnishings, Compac Quartz Granite surfaces and a state-of-the-art two burner hob.

Speaking on the launch of the New Vito range, Horizon MCV’s Sales Director James Burt said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of our second multi-concept vehicle for the luxury campervan market. This has been a really exciting project which we have been developing under wraps. We sourced the vehicle in continental Europe and it has been undergoing an incredible transformation in our workshop. We believe that our first-to-market conversion will provide users the ultimate crossover between practical travel and elegant design.”
