Knaresborough campsite reopens after £1m redevelopment
Knaresborough opens for first orders
A £1million redevelopment of its site at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, by the Caravan and Motorhome Club has whetted appetites thanks to an all-new Wanderer Kitchen and Bar offering
Named after The Wanderer, the horse-drawn caravan that’s synonymous with the launch of the Club back in 1907, the licensed restaurant serves local produce such as slow-braised Boroughbridge pork belly and The Wanderer Burger. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from Friday to Sunday and dinner Monday to Thursday.
The Club says following the successful launch it now plans to roll out the dining concept to more of its sites.
Knaresborough Club Site is set in Lower Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Yorkshire Dales. Open all year, all of its 79 pitches are hardstandings, including 12 full serviced. Other upgrades include the service points and shower facilities.
