Keep your pet cool in your motorhome

Cooling gel draws heat away from pet

Despite national awareness about dogs overheating in summer, hundreds of pet pooches die from heat stroke every year.  Even with air-conditioning travelling can be uncomfortably hot for a dog.

AniMat is a mat for your pet to lay on while travelling, that cools the animal on contact, quickly absorbing its body heat.
Heatstroke in dogs can be life threatening with symptoms including dehydration, lethargy and loss of appetite, so it’s vital dogs are kept cool. Older dogs, young puppies and flat-faced (brachycephalic) dogs are particularly vulnerable to heat related symptoms.

Certain breeds like Frenchies, Bulldogs, Pugs and Boston Terriers suffer from compromised breathing due to their snub noses and wrinkly expressions. Their nostrils and windpipes are so narrow that they can’t draw in enough air and can’t cool themselves by panting as efficiently as other longer-nosed breeds.

Animat is just as practical in the home, on holiday, visiting friends, or just driving back from a walk in the park. Its also cool for cats in transit, at the vets, cattery or just for lounging on at home.

Complete with 100% lightweight soft cotton covers available in blue and flax, AniMat blends aesthetically into any environment. Easy to clean the covers offer additional cool comfort for your pet.

Very simple to use, there’s no ‘activation required. Its practical rubber design and non-toxic gel technology is used for cooling bedding and pads for people. Unlike other cooling products its not electrical and its patented self cooling system doesn’t need pre-chilling in a fridge before use making it ideal when you’re travelling.

The AniMat Cool Gel Mat is available in three sizes – Small (30 x 40cm), Medium (34 x54cm), Large (60 x 90cm), and X Large priced £17.99, £24.99, £44.99 and £65.99. Animat cotton covers retail from £8.00.
