Jöbl reveals latest VW campervan
British campervan maker, Jöbl Design, has launched its latest four-berth campervan, called the Kampa SE.
The new NCC-approved campervan is based on the short-wheelbase (just 4.89m long) Volkswagen T6 T28 powered by the base 100bhp (102PS) 2.0TDi engine (all the engine, gearbox and four-wheel drive are all available as options).
Both equipment and safety spec is high in the VW as Jöbl uses only VW’s Highline spec vans so you get the likes of traction control, ESP and Front Assist with City Emergency Braking all as standard.
Buyers also get a 5” touchscreen multi-media system with USB and SD card ports and DAB radio with bluetooth connectivity as standard as well as cruise control, rear parking sensors, air-conditioning and 16” alloy wheels.
On the conversion side, a market-leading SCA pop-top roof with roof bed is fitted above and below there is a 120cm-wide folding RIB bed/seat system with twin seatbelts. Alongside is a side kitchen with a Dometic two-burner hob and grill, sink with metal tap (there is a 240V hot water heater) and a Webasto 49-litre fridge/freezer. There are also twin water tanks: a 60-litre underslung fresh water tank and a 30-litre underslung waste water tank.
Heating is courtesy of a 2kW Eberspacher diesel space heater. Other touches include full blackout curtains, all-LED lighting, an 85Ah leisure battery, removable table and commercial grade slip resistant flooring.
The new Kampa SE is available from Jöbl dealer, ES Hartley in both Cheshire and Cumbria, from £46,420.
