Hymer Group motorhome dealer, Travelworld, awarded Fiat Professional franchise

Travelworld Motorhomes, which is an exclusive Erwin Hymer Group dealer, has been awarded the Fiat Professional franchise for servicing and warranty

This means Travelworld can undertake any Fiat chassis service and warranty work as well as giving it access to original parts supply.

The franchise includes the use of Fiat factory software and direct remotely linked access to Fiat UK for parts ordering, technical advice and warranty diagnosis including all recall notices.

Staff at the dealership will also be able to benefit from following Fiat processes and procedures and continual motor industry quality training courses.

Travelworld’s relationship with Fiat is through its Erwin Hymer Group-branded Finance, which is unique to the industry and is underwritten by Fiat Chrysler. 

Erwin Hymer Group is also one of Fiat’s largest customers for the Fiat Ducato chassis cab. 

“We are very happy to have achieved the criteria set out by Fiat as this was not easy. However, we feel the benefits the franchise brings to our customers will be huge,” said Ross Edwards, Travelworld’s Managing Director.

“Currently our customers have to visit Fiat agents for their chassis warranty work and this not only causes disconnect with our customer but quite often issues arise between the chassis and the habitation side that cannot been understood by anybody other than a qualified motorhome service centre. We are totally focused on the service side of our business and aftersales, so becoming Fiat Professional is just another commitment and investment we have made to better serve our customers.”
