RADIO 2 presenter Johnnie Walker – currently sitting in for Terry Wogan – has been using the morning show to discuss his excitement at buying a motorhome.

He has just bought a new Auto-trail Cheyenne 630 LB, which is scheduled for delivery in late May.

Johnnie visited the NEC motorhome show in February and found the Cheyenne ‘ticked all the boxes’ so placed an order with Chelston Motorhomes.

At the time, he expressed an interest in visiting the manufacturing plant at Europarc, Grimsby, to see how Auto-Trails were built, a service the company offers to all existing and potential customers.

After a full factory tour, where he chatted with staff, he met up with joint managing director, David Thomas.

Johnnie plans to tour Europe in his new motorhome in early June.
