Five-person van conversion from Campérêve

The Rapido Group’s van conversion specialist, Campérêve, has announced a new long-wheelbase Fiat van conversion with five travel seats and up to six berths. The new FamilyVan will be sold in the UK exclusively by Highbridge and will make its debut at the NEC show in October.

The FamilyVan has an L-settee lounge with a small inward-facing seat across the sliding door. For travel, the inward-facing seat is replaced by an automotive-style rear-facing seat with a lap belt, making up the five travel seats. Beds include transverse bunks at the rear, an occasional transverse double bed made from the lounge seats and a 1.90m by 1.30m lengthways drop-down roof bed.

Specification includes double floor storage, all-season XHP insulation, insulated water tanks (100 litres each for fresh and waste), Remis cab blinds and a 160-litre AES fridge/freezer. Options include a Comfort Pack (driver and passenger airbags, cruise control, cab radio, armrests), metallic paint, front foglamps, 125-litre fuel tank, a flyscreen for the sliding door, 148 or 177bhp engine upgrades and the Comfort-Matic gearbox.

Campérêve has also unveiled a new Mirande elevating roof conversion of the new Renault Trafic which will, again, debut here in October.
