Fighting fire in your motorhome
Having a fire in your motorhome is not a situation anyone wants to face but if you do, then a fire extinguisher is an almost essential accessory. The trouble is, most extinguishers are very heavy and will take up space and payload. That’s where the FirePal Aereson Fire Extinguisher hopes to make a difference by being 70-80% smaller than an equivalent capacity, traditional version.
Unlike conventional portable extinguishers the FirePal series are very lightweight, compact, non-pressurised, environmentally safe, leave no harmful residue and are very easy to use. They need no annual maintenance or pressure testing, saving time and money. This is the only type of extinguisher suitable for both liquid fuel and electrical fires so the motorhomer doesn't need to think which extinguisher to use on which fire.
The materials used are non-hazardous and human-safe, unlike some which use CO2, an asphyxiate, or powder, a laxative. It will also cause no damage to engines or electronics and has no effect on engine air intake.
Finally, the FirePal series – which are listed in order of capacity from FP50, FP100 ro FP150, are green, having no effect on ozone or increasing CO2 in the air. The prices are £39.60 for the FP50, £59.99 for the FP100 and £84.99 for the FP150.
