Thanks to the growing trend in ‘Green Holidays’, more and more people are dipping their toes in the water of adventure holidays and Suffolk is proving a popular choice, thanks to its ancient woodlands, heritage coastline, wild swim locations, heathlands and over 5,000km of waymarked paths.

With events to enjoy including the Suffolk Walking Festival (May11th – June 2nd), A leisurely stroll around the 3.5 mile Gainsborough Trail and The Great East Swim (June 22nd) held at the Alton Reservoir near Ipswich, a great day out for those swimmers allergic to chlorine.

Less competitive swimmers should consider heading down to the award-winning Beccles Lido or for a little more Walberswick beach, where you can head southwards toward Dunwich lost village. You could even do a spot of
Scuba on the site dubbed ‘Britains Atlantis’.
